Are you ready to move? Well Sony has finally released their brand new system called the Playstation Move. It is a motion controller that is similar to the Nintendo Wii, but they say that it is way better when it comes to functionality.
Nintendo set a base for motion controllers, but Sony has taken it to another level. This new controller is used in conjunction with the eye camera, this is their webcam which until now has been used for video chats and stuff like that. The Eye tracks the movement of the controller to make it more precise as opposed to playing without the camera.
So the Playstation Eye is not a requirement for the controller, but you might as well get one if you want your game to be as accurate as possible. There is a bulb on the top of it, that changes colors. It can actually do the color changes in real time too. Overall it looks very solid and it does have a few buttons on the front of it.
There is also an extra controller you can get that works with the main one.
It is what you would call the Nunchuck for this new system. It has a pad and some buttons on it too. This will also be wireless, so you do not have to worry about any wires.
The reaction speed from the time you press the button, and the time the action occurs on the screen is just as fast as the dual shock control. Sony has introduced the Playstation Move at a very affordable price, which is under one hundred dollars for the bundle. This includes the remote, the Eye and an additional game. The controller itself you can get for about fifty dollars or less. The extra navigation unit is available for about thirty dollars separately.

PS3 : Profiter d’une console de jeux en Haute-Définition
La PlayStation 3 est disponible en France depuis le 23 mars 2007. Après la PS One et la PS2, Sony a bien l’intention de s’imposer une nouvelle fois en leader dans le domaine des consoles de jeux dans le monde. Mais pour être à la mode du XXI siècle, il est obligatoire pour un constructeur comme Sony de faire converger les loisirs numériques et la technologie informatique . C’est la convergence numérique et c’est mission réussie par la PS3 !
La PS3 dispose donc de nouveautés technologiques et numériques capables de faire craquer tous les passionnés de jeux vidéo et les cinéphiles les plus exigeants en même temps.
Au niveau informatique, la PS3 dispose d’un processeur Cell, très puissant, élaboré par Sony, Toshiba et IBM. Ses capacités lui permettent de gérer les jeux vidéo les plus puissants en terme de graphique. La PS3 comporte un disque dur de 60 Go dont les applications sont évidentes : stockage des données, téléchargement sur Internet et amélioration des temps de chargement des jeux.
Concernant les loisirs numériques, la PS3 permet de lire les DVD haute définition grâce à un lecteur DVD Blu-ray. Le Blu-ray est un disque optique qui peut contenir 250 Go de stockage ( contre 4,7 Go pour un DVD classique ), et donne ainsi accès à la haute définition. La PS3 permet également de se connecter à Internet grâce à son navigateur Web incorporé.
La console de jeux PlayStation 3 dispose maintenant d’une novelle manette. En fait il s’agit simplement d’une évolution de la Dualshock, appelée Sixaxis. Au niveau design, pas de changement. Par contre la manette Sixaxis dispose de la technologie Bluetooth, ce qui permet à ses heureux possesseurs de jouer sans fil. Pourquoi Sixaxis ? Parce qu’elle utilise une technologie de détection de mouvements sur 6 axes, allant de droite à gauche, de haut en bas et d’avant en arrière. Les boutons L2 et R2 sont plus larges et analogiques pour donner une réaction différente selon la pression qu’exerce l’utilisateur. Une nouvelle touche a été ajoutée : la touche PS qui permet d’allumer ou d’éteindre la console de jeux sans se déplacer et aussi de réinitialiser la PS3. Enfin, il suffit de relier la manette Sixaxis au port USB en façade de la console pour la recharger.
